Light Sweep, January 2009.
This Piece consisted of a custom hand blown glass vessel filled with iron dust and water. Inside was an electromagnet that would oscillate between on and off in sync with a white led. As the light turned on and off the iron dust would gravitate towards the magnet and slowly fall away. Bubbles came from the bottom through a fish pump while a microphone recorded and amplified the sounds.
