Chalk Walk, October 2007.
Chalk Walk was a collaborative performance piece with Henry Toland in which we mapped out our paths of a typical week at Stetson University. We used different colored pieces of chalk to map each person's path throughout each day.
The goal of the piece was to portray a physical social network on campus. Upon completion, a myriad of colored chalk lines crisscrossed campus. We could see where each of us had been and where we had missed each other. When we met up, we could compare our paths in a way that had never been available to us before.

Dergle, September 2006.
Dergle is an interactive self portrait piece that can be used by anyone to to show how one is seen by friends, family, themself, and the web. This relationship between one self and how others perceive oneself can be broken down into a collection of semiological systems. The participant in all cases would be the signifier and the different options would be the signified. These two parts combine when you click “Dergle Search” and out comes the sign, a representation of how you are seen by either, friends, family, the web, and yourself. Visit the website at popsnorkle.com/dergle.
